On Thursday 23 May, RCN cities Roeselare and Kortrijk organised a joint study day on transsensitive acting for professionals.

More and more often, professionals are faced with questions about transgender issues and gender diversity, or work with transgender people and their loved ones. During this study day on trans sensitive acting, participants learned how to deal with this. The seminar was aimed at aid, care and service providers, as well as Student Guidance Center staff, care coordinators and pupil supervisors in secondary education.

There were several workshops and information sessions on topics such as ‘How to draft trans inclusive policies?’, ‘Relationships and sexuality among trans people’ and ‘Coming out: do or don’t?’
