The HangOut010 is a livingroom for queer young people (16-26). The HangOut010 offers queer youth a platform to exchange experiences and to feel heard, seen and recognized within a safe environment. A professional coordinator organizes activities that generate social cohesion, mutual support and empowerment. For example: game nights, movie nights, POC meetings, homework sessions, art workshops and sports. The activities always strive for a diverse range in which attention is paid to differences in gender identity, sexual orientation, cultural and religious backgrounds or a combination of these. Everyone should also be able to participate regardless of income, language, or a varying need for visibility. The coordinator works closely with the LGBTIQ+ specialized social assistance. If needed participants are guided to professional assistance.
