In march 2024, the city of Paris hosted the annual in-person meeting of the Board at the Hotel de Ville (city hall). After their work session, they were able to visit the LGBTQIA+ Centre of Paris and meet its president.
They had the opportunity to discover La Bulle, house of LGBTQIA+ solidarity and meet Jean-Luc Romero-Michel (deputy mayor in charge of human rights, anti-discrimination and integration) and Afaf Alhajji (syrian LGBTQIA+ activist). This was a perfect occasion to exchange different perspectives and experiences on what cities are doing to be more inclusive of LGBTQI+ people.
