The well known Viennese counselling-center COURAGE opened together with the Austrian Society for Sexual Sciences (ÖGS) a new Queer Education Center. Here these two organisations can hold their training courses on sexuology, sexual education, sexual counselling, sexual therapy and transgender-care in a very professional location, which, of course, offers barrier-free access. The location was co-financed by the City of Vienna and was opened by Vienna’s vice mayor Christoph Wiederkehr and a keynote speech by Wolfgang Wilhelm on sexual education in an open society.
