Since 2022, we have been inviting queer activists from our partner cities to nuremberg every year for an exchange. The focus is on networking and support. In addition to discussions with the community, talks are also held with local politicians and mayors. This has made it possible, for example, to generate financial support for queer organizations in our partner cities. The guests are also involved in the Pride program such as the Dyke March, Pride and the Rainbow Reception at City Hall. This year, a queer Nuremberg delegation traveled to Pride in Krakow for the very first time. It was an impressive exchange an we learnd a lot. It also promoted the drag community in both cities. Drag artists from Krakow will take part in an event in Nuremberg in August, raising funds for the Krakow organization. In summary, the connections between communities and administrations were strengthened.
