MineWine is a civic initiative in which vines were planted at the base of Winterslag’s mine ridge.

To add to the focus of IDAHOT week, the vines are getting a colorful ‘makeover’ in advance. Together with volunteers from OGWA (Genk’s LGBT and transgender group) and MineWine volunteers, some of these vines were painted in rainbow colors.
