On March 25 of this year, the Copred, UNESCO Mexico, the Direction of Sexual Diversity and Human Rights of the Mexico City, and the local organization Racismo MX, planned, designed and disseminated the #EsRacismo campaign, which consists of 10 messages that aim to make racist and discriminatory attitudes visible in different social areas such as work, the family, the mass media and the public space, as well as the ways to denounce any discriminatory practice.
he campaign has a focus on rights, equality and non-discrimination, as well as an intersectional perspective by including Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) and people of sexual and gender diversity. It is currently being disseminated on social media, screens at public transportation stops and on billboards in the city’s subway system.
