Inclusion and protection against discrimination will enhance security for minorities who do not conform with gender and sexuality norms and who are at risk of being marginalised. This includes advisory health services, and measures to combat discrimination, negative social control and hate crime. This focus area targets efforts within municipal agencies and the broader community to include minorities who do not conform with gender and sexuality norms in schools, youth clubs, and senior citizens’ community centres, as well as in workplaces, hospitality and entertainment, sports, and community organisations.
A guide for enhanced protection against discrimination will be developed to improve protection against everyday discrimination, hate speech, racism and homophobia and to promote gender and sexual diversity.
