Bergen municipality will increase expertise on gender and sexuality at the Health Centre for youth and students. Funding is provided to train two health nurses in the field of sexology. The health nurses can with this competence carry out exploratory interviews, guide and assess the need for help.

Furthermore, an important part of the competence team’s mandate will be to develop methods and competence, as well as share this with other employees in health and care services who work with target group of all ages. The team will also create an interdisciplinary network together with the Regional Center for Gender Incongruence.
