Since 2024, the city of Oostende launched bystander training programs for city employees and professionals to address racism, discrimination, and unwanted behavior. This training, also offered to the local Rainbow House and volunteers, aims to equip participants with the skills to actively intervene and respond appropriately to unwanted behavior. The program encourages active participation in creating a safe and respectful environment, reducing instances of discrimination and harassment in daily life.
