At the city of Paris, the human resources department constantly improves it anti-discrimination strategy especially when it comes to LGBTQIA+ phobia.
To count LGBTQIA+ phobias, the city has teamed up with l’Autre cercle (association) to launch an LGBTQIA+ barometer. On may 17th, the results came out and overall, 88% of employees considered the city to be LGBT-friendly (compared with 77% of French employees). An in-depth analysis of this annual survey enabled the human resources department to adjust the objectives of the Paris Equality Plan (with a LGBTQIA+section) and create a new leaflet entitled “Homophobia and lesbophobia work, stop! Let’s take action together!
