20 events were organised during the second edition of the Pride Month in May/June 2024 with 22 cooperation partners in nine urban districts. The goal was to create queer visibility not only in the city centre, where most places for queers are located, but throughout the whole city. The Pride Month was organised by the Anti-discrimination unit within the department of diversity, anti-discrimination and societal cohesion and the Department of Multicultural Affairs. Special funding of 10,000 € was available for associations. The various events included queer district walks, discussion evenings and training courses. In addition, three RCN photo exhibitions were held in various city council offices during the campaign period: Queer Refugees/ Families/ Youth. The measure of choosing municipal properties as an exhibition space also increased queer visibility within the city administration.
